Cheri's Embroidery is a "Full Service embroidery shop".
While many shops can embroider patterns they have in stock, they cannot design or
"digitize" things you may want to transfer to stitches, and may farm this out to non-local
shops, often oversees.
"Digital Photo Transfers" are not embroidery at all, but rather photos printed on a special
media, then pressed at high temperature onto T-shirts or similar fabric. Cheri provides this
technology as well.
We do not provide "screen printing", but will recommend a local vendor upon request.

- "Embroidery" is essentially the act of stitching patterns onto a fabric. For machine
embroidery, this means a computer file must be used to direct the machine as to
what should be stitched onto the fabric. This is usually charged per 1000 stitches
per item. - "Digitizing" is the conversion of your existing picture of your logo or design into a
file the embroidery machine can read. This only needs to be done once, as it is re-
used to produce the same embroidered image over and over again, until you want to
change something. This may be scanned from a business card or created from a
JPEG file or equivalent. - "Design" is the creation of an original piece of artwork, which results in a "Digitized"
file which can then direct the embroidery machine to stitch out the design on a
garment.
